I recently came across an interesting recipe called “Spaghetti Carbonara” from my favourite health magazine once again (Men’s health). I must admit, it was the first time I have ever heard of such a thing and so I decided to take my cooking skills to the next level and experiment with this recipe and turn it into another masterpiece.
Like any other recipes included in the past, I ensure that it is simple and not time consuming and healthy at the same time.
This meal includes a lot of carbs, but for all the real health nuts out there who are carb conscious, you can always use whole wheat spaghetti to ensure that you get the right/good carbs you need. It will certainly fill you up and leave you satisfied.
Not much fancy culinary skills are required for this meal, all that is required from you is a bit of time and curiosity to find out how this masterpeice will turn out in the end.
You will require some boiling and frying skills to get your creative juices flowing and the rest will sort itself out.
It’s amazing what you can come up with when you mix spaghetti or liguini, an egg, some bacon and some sort of garnishing herb. In this particular post I used coriander but you can use any green herb of your choice to make the meal more interesting and add unique flavours that suite your tastebuds.
